Walk of Heroes Festival
Saturday, May 2nd: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Rockdale Government Annex
1400 Parker Road, Conyers
We are asking for 6 volunteers to help cover the RCASG booth next Saturday. This is an opportunity to provide information in the community on autism awareness, as well as sell items at the booth benefiting RCASG.
Times for volunteers:
10:00am – 12:00pm
12:00 – 2:00pm
2:00 – 4:00pm
The Walk Among The Heroes Veterans Fundraiser and Festival will be held at the Rockdale Government Annex on May 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Frosty Acres Family Events is honored to host the event. This festival features over 80 retail shops, crafts, food, games, prizes, live entertainment, pony rides, moonwalk, and much more. Rockdale County will be joining us with their Fire and Rescue vehicles, as well as the police department with their child safety program. LifeSouth Community blood centers will be having a blood drive that day. Falcons Fury Harley-Davidson will be showcasing their bikes. Just 4 Fun Radio will be broadcasting live entertainment. Rockdale Medical Center will be providing blood pressure screenings.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) for Special Needs

You and anyone else you might know who would be interested in helping get this started, and considering what role you can take on to help make this event possible. The dates for this event will be Sunday evening through Thursday evening beginning on July 19 through Thursday, July 23.
If you are attending, please enter through the white doors at the church, as the group will be meeting near that entrance. There will be many materials available to share with you, the group will talk about the overview of the program and begin to give assignments to people to help out in different areas.
Also, we need assistance with childcare for the meeting, if you know of anyone that might have experience with children, who might be willing to come and watch them please contact Mary Armstrong-Reiner at pastormaryar@gmail.com.
