Parent Academy is a learning opportunity for all adults, as well as “tweens/teens” (students ages 11-17), in the Rockdale County community. Classes include a variety of topics, such as parenting, college and career readiness, healthy relationships, computer skills, Zumba, financial planning, healthy eating/living, organizational tips, and more. The classes and lunch are FREE! Door prizes will be given out at the end of the day. Childcare is provided for children of pre-registered participants. (Childcare is for children ages 3 through 10 ONLY, and lunch will be provided for them.) There will be vendors present with products for sale and plenty of helpful information. The district-wide Spring 2015 Parent Academy will be held Saturday, March 21st, 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at Rockdale Career Academy.
