Help Define The Future: What will it look like for you and your child?
Objectives of our 2015 sessions are to:
- Access tools and tips for life planning
- Discuss trends in housing, employment, community engagement and funding
- Tackle the issue of employment and day service programs in order to offer meaningful options for adults with developmental disabilities that invite them out of isolation and off the couch
- Hear from the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities on what to expect from new definitions and rates for waiver services
- Participate in a community dialogue
- Network with other advocates in your community
- Learn about how you can get connected to statewide advocacy efforts
