AMAZING SCIENCE NIGHT
Watch a volcano explode in front of you, make a lava lamp to take home, write messages with invisible ink. Make and play with your own magnetic slime! These are just a few of the fun science activities that we will be doing!

WHEELCHAIR  TENNIS
This class will develop and teach basic skills necessary to enjoy wheelchair tennis. Wheelchair tennis is the fastest growing adapted sport and for good reason – it’s a blast!! You can play at your neighborhood park or travel internationally for elite play. All you need is a racquet and balls and a desire to have a good time! Wheelchairs and racquets available to those who need them.

STONE  MOUNTAIN  PARK  TRIP
Time for adventures and fun with friends, Adventure Passes allow us to enjoy the following activities:  Geyser Towers, SkyHike, Camp Highland Outpost, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island – The 4-D Experience, Scenic Railroad, Mini-Golf, Summit Skyride, Antebellum Plantation, Discovering Stone Mountain Museum at Memorial Hall.  A minimum of 15 people are required to get this great price.

Tired of sitting home not having anything to do? Join us as we get creative and make cool crafts. We will have lots of fun as we use our imaginations to complete projects.

HIKE AND PICNIC
We’ll work up a hearty appetite as we take in some beautiful outdoor scenery as we do a short hike. Halfway we’ll enjoy a delicious picnic lunch in the out of doors.

GIRL’S  CLUB – POTTERY
Participate with other girls 13 and older with special needs in exploring activities unique to women’s interests. We’ll get together and go to a local pottery place to paint our own items.

DR.  DINOSAUR  PUPPET  SHOW
Join Dr. Dinosaur on this exciting expedition of prehistoric proportions!  You’ll discover how Paleontologists learn interesting facts about Carnivores and Herbivores by examining the fossils and bones they left behind. Rock thru the ages and rock to the beat in this toe-tapping musical revue featuring rod puppets, hand puppets, original songs and of course, dinosaurs!

GEORGIA TECH MEN’S TENNIS VS DUKE UNIVERSITY
Catch some future professional players competing against Duke University. For sure there will be plenty of action as we cheer on Tech!

ROCKDALE  SPECIAL  OLYMPICS  TRACK  AND  FIELD MEET
This meet is open to all Rockdale County Special Olympians. Competition will be held in various running events and field events including long jump, softball throw, and others. Both standing and wheelchair divisions will be offered. Non-attached athletes interested in participating can sign up at 770-278-7249.
