Does Bullying Belong in an IEP?
Did you know in both the U.S. and the U.K. bullying can be addressed in your child’s IEP (Individualized Education Program)? Bullying is a special education issue when it involves disability-based harassment because a disability can often prevent a child on the spectrum from responding in an appropriate way when being treated cruelly, according to Special Education Attorney Jennifer Laviano.
